Review: This is a very cute hop between Alienated and Invaded. I could have used a little more fluff. We meet Cara’s big brother and he’s very protective of her (which confuses Cara because he never has been before.) Aelyx attempts at Christmas are laughable and the sweet touch this romance needed. There’s also a bit of jealousy introduced as a high ranking member of the alien government sets his eyes on Cara. Aelyx realizes for the first time just how wrong his actions were in Alienated when he gave Cara a necklace in front of her boyfriend when Jaxon gives Cara a present she absolutely adores. Perhaps this is a love triangle being introduced? Jaxon definitely has an agenda. I wonder what it is. I wish this novella was longer!
